My mother is in denial about everything that goes on in the house, my dad is mad and takes his anger/stress out on me. When I'm feeling angry or depressed, I often listen to music that reflects my mood. For some reason it seems to help me forget the real reason for what I was feeling in the first place. I don't know if I'm the only one who does this, but at least it's an alternative to help me feel better.
