| yah i agree, they are quite depressing, and for anyone who has a baby, or has been/is pregnant it can really hurt them, even if people dont mean to hurt others. the dumb blonde jokes are alright, but in a way they could also cause steryotyping against people, its been seen in work forces that blondes have been denied bacause people have thought of them as incompetant. | |

| Kit, it is great that you have a child, and I can see how these jokes would hurt you, they are NOT funny, i think funny jokes would be something that cant hurt anyone, or something that someone says when they are meaning to say something else, not rascist jokes or jokes about people or babies getting hurt etc.
Hopefully no one here will talk about or say jokes that hurt anyon, but if they do, feel free to talk to a moderator, like shadow-vampire, the creator of this site. | |

| It all depends on the outlook of the person listening to the joke.
I personally find blonde jokes to be highly offensive, not because I'm blonde, but because they are actually racialist jokes. As per nature only whites can be blonde, thus it is a shot in disguise to the intelligence of the white race.
Somewhere along the line in the last 20 years society has deemed crude, racial and demeaning things to be funny. Why? I'll never understand. It's best not to let them bother you too much, as the message (usually) behind the joke itself is not to insult, rather to provide a laugh and a smile.
