| you should just call the humane scoitey ? they can make sure it's confidential, and if they are threatening you report it to the police. | |

| Yes but even if its confidential they will know it was me because im the only one who knows how they treat the animals. and we told the police about them threatening us and the police said they cant do anything about it unless there documents proving it or until something happens. its dumb. i feel bad for the animals. but i dont know how to help them. | |

| Well, call the human scoitey and get the dog out of that sitation, and even if you are the only person that knows, you will be the one that HELPS that dog! i seriously think you should suggest it to your parents call the agency and get the dog out of that horrible situation. and if the police wont do anything call their headquarters and request a restraining order. | |

| All I could recommend is the sme as what You_Angel said, phone the humane society. If these threats have been issued and you have a record of them, such as taped messages, msn convos or texts, or even written letters, you can go to the police and sue for harassment. I would NOT recommend trying to save the animals yourself, as you would just be putting yourself in danger, leave it to professionals. Hopefully you will find a way that these animals can be helped, without risking you safety.
Try phoning ans talking to the Humane society, and asking them what to do, but not giving specific information.

| Humane Society is the best way. Animal abuse is wrong. | |

| I know its not fair and i wish it would stop, but it never will, we can try our hardest ot prevent it in isolated ares, but sometimes we cant. its the sad truth | |

| Maybe the owner has his/her own problems and they don't know how to deal with them, so they take it out on the animal. | |

| that could be an answer, that is also sometimes why parents abuse there children.
It is unfortunate, but happens...
Truth hurts sometimes, but we can't always change it.

| My Suggestion is you should Call the humane society but also have friends around you when you go aroudn their Family, and Normally when the Dog is abused there is normally more then just the dog, so you might be saving more then the Dog and it will pay off in the End.
Because if the Family tries anything towards you, you will atleast have some protection from Friends, and have evidence of this Problem and the police will have to step in.
if not explain to a Couple TRUST WORTHY friends of how you feel uncomfortable to be alone around that family that you need some Physical Protection around them because you feel unsafe.
Just try asking a Friend of yours that knwos how to protect them self and others in their surrounding, it has helped in many Situations.

Well ask if they could come someday and have your current friends that you see oftan and try to trust them? that is the best advice i can really give on this situation as it is a very hard Situation to get involved with.

| You can always phone the police, because they take very seriously uttered threats. If they have EVER hit you or had any form of physical contact with you that is unessesary or against you will, they can be charged with FIRST degree assault. | |

| They have never hit me or anything, and ive told the police about the threats AND the animals and they said they cant do anything about the threats without documented proof and if i want the animals taken care of i have to call the humane society but then the threats will come true...i really dont know what to do. | |

| thats true, threats HAVE to be recorded written or something...and the animals the police cant do anyhting about as they protect society as a whole...contact the Humane society, and stay somewhere safe, nothing can happen they CANNOT and will not do anyhting to harm you. | |

| thats a pretty good idea, wlthough i dont know if uit would stand with the police, intentionally recording could be considered invasion of privacy, and i just dont know how well that would stand up...
But try it just so you can remain safe

| The Police have some Loop holes inside the Law, and one of them is if it depends on your safety (which in this case it is Required) Any Law can be broken to Ensure a persons Safety.
I have done many research on Canadian Law and have done whatever i can to find loop holes, turns out this loop hole really helps.
